From Tuesday 25 March, until the end of service on Wednesday 23 April, work will take place on the Metrolink lines between Market Street and High Street/Church Street. During this time, no trams will be able to operate via Market Street or Shudehill. Trafford Centre services will operate to Etihad Campus and all Altrincham services will operate to Bury. Other cross-city services will divert via Exchange Square. Customers are advised to use the Free Bus 1 & 2 services during these works to make city centre connections. A replacement bus service will only run outside of the Free Bus operating times.

From Saturday 29 March until winter 2025, Tram Train services on Saturdays after around 5pm will not be able to operate between Meadowhall South, Rotherham Central and Parkgate.

A broken down train at Grimsby Town means lines are disrupted. As a result, trains running between Cleethorpes and Barton-on-Humber will be cancelled. Disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day.
